Account Executive - Health and Life Policy (100% Remote)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a performance-oriented Account Executive to become a part of our insurance team. The ideal candidate will have the responsibility of managing and expanding a portfolio of existing clients, prospecting for new business opportunities, and delivering superior customer service. The candidate should possess a strong insurance background, good communication and sales skills, and the capability to perform in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve and retain an existing portfolio of clients with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Find and seek out new business opportunities using networking, and referrals.
• Build and retain relationships with significant decision-makers in client companies
• Conduct assessments of needs and deliver tailored insurance solutions to customers
• Interface with internal functions, such as underwriting and claims, in order to effect smooth delivery of services
• Be knowledgeable about industry trends, market dynamics, and competition
• Exceed or meet sales goals and performance objectives
• Develop and deliver proposals, reports, and other sales content to customers and internal clients
Requirements:
● Successful history in sales and account management (preferred but not required)
● Strong understanding of insurance products and services, commercial lines, personal lines, and employee benefits
● Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
● Can work in a fast-paced setting and manage several tasks and deadlines
● Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
