Sales Development Representative– Life & Health Insurance (Work from Home)

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team in the life and health insurance industry. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating new leads, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and setting appointments for licensed insurance agents. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong desire to help individuals and families secure the right insurance coverage for their needs.
 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through various outreach methods, including calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media engagement.
  • Research and analyze customer needs to present tailored insurance solutions.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of leads in the company system.

2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Initiate conversations with prospects to understand their health and financial needs.
  • Educate potential clients on available life and health insurance products.
  • Build trust and rapport with prospects to facilitate a smooth transition to licensed insurance agents.

3. Appointment Setting & Sales Support

  • Schedule appointments for insurance agents with pre-qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure a seamless handoff of potential clients.
  • Follow up with leads to keep them engaged throughout the sales cycle.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔️ Experience: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or insurance is preferred but not required.
✔️ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage potential clients effectively.
✔️ Sales & Persuasion: Strong ability to handle objections, build rapport, and generate interest in insurance products.
✔️ Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Zoom software and email automation tools
✔️ Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and stay motivated in a target-driven environment.
✔️ Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with sales agents and contribute to team goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of life and health insurance products, policies, and industry trends.
  • Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or telemarketing.
  • Active Life & Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain one).
